I won’t be writing blog posts this week as I am attending the five-day EQ course in Durban along with about 20 other people, including two of my children Candice and Matt.

Cal, who works with me is also attending the course, so the You’re Awesome office will be shut down for the week. But we will hopefully emerge smarter and more intuitive next week.

This Course follows Six Seconds’ Know Yourself, Choose Yourself, Give Yourself model for learning to develop and apply emotional intelligence (the same model as the SEI assessment). Participants experience an EQ learning environment and learn how to use a range of effective tools that can be adapted to a variety of audiences.
